Know what’s in the product you are purchasing.

  • Some products contain THC and may not be legal in your state.
  • There are also a lot of poor quality CBD products on the market today due to a lack of regulation and heavily imported products.
  • Labeling is often inconsistent and unclear making it confusing.

Is the oil a full spectrum or isolate?

How was the CBD extracted?

You must know how the CBD oil is extracted by the company. There are some natural ways that are used to extract CBD from the hemp plant.  Ethanol and CO2 extraction are two methods that are most commonly used for extraction of CBD. CO2  produces a much cleaner, healthier product.  So make sure that the retailer you are purchasing CBD from discloses the methods of extraction.  Never purchase a product that uses butane and propane for extractions.

Choose your strength:

Dosage quantity is measured in milligrams of CBD.  For CBD oils, usually one dropper is equal to 1 millimeter and the quantity of CBD in each dropper is determined by the total amount of CBD in milligrams per bottle.

Note: If a 1000mg bottle cost 50-80% off the price of another brand that has the same 1000mg’s, find out where the CBD comes from. Is it synthetic? How was it extracted? Does it contain pesticides?

CBD is measured in milligrams (mg). You can determine the amount of CBD per milliliter by dividing the strength by the bottle size.  For instance RESTART REPLENISH 600mg/30ml contains 20mg/ml.  …read more

What is the right amount for you?

Finding the right dosage for you requires some trial and error to get the right amount for your body. With patience and practice, you should be able to get to that “happy point” in just a few days of working with it.

Where is the hemp grown or sourced from?

The hemp should be grown with effective and sustainable means.  You must watch out for the companies that are not able to tell you the material’s history as well as from where they have sourced it.

RESTART CBD derives its organically grown hemp plants from sustainable and vegan farms in Kentucky. All of our oils are extracted using CO2 super-critical extraction, which is the food grade standard. All of our batches are tested for heavy metals, pesticides, and levels of cannabinoids present in the whole plant.  …read more

What other ingredients are in the oil?

RESTART CBD oil contains NO additives, flavorings, sweeteners or preservatives.  RESTART CBD rich oil is comprised of Pure CBD mixed with fractionated coconut oil, MCT (medium-chain triglycerides).

Cannabinoids are fat soluble and are most effective when consumed with fat.  Coconut oil contains saturated fat which helps the body absorb the cannabinoid.  Using MCT oils allows for a relatively rapid release of cannabinoids compared to other oils.  MCT oils are also directly metabolized into energy allowing your body to burn those fats and put the cannabinoids they hold to use right away.

Is it 3rd party tested?

Another major question that needs to be answered is whether the company provides test results or not. Therefore, every flower and the final product must be tested for safety and legality by a certified testing facility. The tests should be done to certify these major things: the concentration of CBD in the product, The concentration of THC in the product as it must be below 0.3% and also the toxic pesticides. You must be aware of the companies who do not provide you test results when asked for.

At RESTART CBD, all of our oil is made from CBD that has been 3rd party lab tested for purity and potency.  We guarantee our potency.
